Lenovo Unveils New Think PCs and Hybrid AI Strategy for Business at IFA 2026

Lenovo presented a comprehensive lineup of hardware and services in Berlin built around hybrid artificial intelligence, combining on-device processing with cloud and edge infrastructure. The launch took place during Lenovo Innovation World, held alongside IFA 2026, and covered new desktop computers, laptops, monitors and business security solutions.

Computers with a Local AI Engine

The strongest entry in the lineup is the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a compact 1.6-liter desktop that houses an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495-series processor with up to 128GB of unified memory and an NPU rated at 55 TOPS. The device supports clustering of up to four units and is set to go on sale in November 2026 starting at 3,100 euros, roughly 13,400 zloty.

The more affordable part of the lineup consists of the ThinkCentre M75q Gen 6 in the tiny form factor and the ThinkCentre M75s Gen 6 in the small form factor, both powered by AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400-series processors with 50 TOPS NPUs. The first goes on sale in October 2026 starting at 999 euros, the second in the same month starting at 1,059 euros.

Laptops and Concept Projects

In the laptop segment, the company showed the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, with Copilot+ PC support and Lenovo Qira AI features. The model weighs from 1.3 kg, offers up to 26 hours of video-playback battery life, and is expected to go on sale in October 2026 starting at 1,099 euros. Alongside it, Lenovo introduced the ThinkBook 14x Gen 2, powered by an Intel Core 7 series 3 processor, measuring 12.9 mm thick and weighing 990 grams, available from September 2026 starting at 1,079 euros.

Lenovo also showed two concept projects with no set market release date. Project AeroBlade is a laptop under 10 mm thick and under 830 grams, cooled by a fanless Active Flow system built on semiconductors. Project Swan, meanwhile, is a notebook with a foldable screen that measures 14 inches in compact mode and expands to 17 inches in a 16:9 ratio when unfolded.

Monitors with Videoconferencing Docking

The new ThinkVision lineup focuses on integration with corporate communication tools. The ThinkVision P34WD-4v, a curved 34-inch WQHD display in a 21:9 ratio, is described by Lenovo as the market's first monitor with Thunderbolt docking and Microsoft VoIP certification, equipped with a 5MP camera backed by AI sensors and an adaptive 24-120 Hz refresh rate. It goes on sale in January 2027 starting at 1,099 euros.

The rest of the lineup includes the ThinkVision P27UL-40, a 27-inch OLED UHD panel with TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, on sale from February 2027 for 1,099 euros; the ThinkVision T32UD-4v, the first 31.5-inch monitor with VoIP docking in the mainstream lineup, available from February 2027 for 799 euros; and the ThinkVision T34WD-4v, a 34-inch ultrawide model with USB-C docking, on sale as early as December 2026 for 599 euros.

Security and AI Management for Business

Alongside the hardware, Lenovo expanded its ThinkShield suite with a new TraceLock feature built on Absolute Security technology, embedded in the firmware of select ThinkPad laptops from the X1, X and T9 families equipped with a WWAN modem. It lets IT teams remotely locate, wake, lock and wipe data from a device even when it is powered off, using cellular connectivity. The company also added Prompt Security, a tool from SentinelOne that monitors employees' use of generative AI in real time and protects against sensitive data leaking to external models.

What It Means for Businesses in Poland

For Polish businesses, the lineup mainly signals a shift of some AI workloads from the cloud to local devices, aimed at cutting costs and reducing latency when working with assistants and agents built into Windows. Starting prices in euros, translating to roughly 2,600 to over 13,000 zloty depending on the model, suggest the new Think generation is aimed primarily at medium and large organizations rather than individual consumers.

The rollout schedule spans from September 2026 to February 2027, meaning some of the announced devices, particularly the ThinkVision monitors, won't reach the market until early next year. Lenovo stresses that the growing number of AI deployments in companies requires parallel expansion of control and security tools, as reflected in the introduction of TraceLock and the integration with Prompt Security.
