The Warsaw-based 360-degree communications agency oLIVE media has announced the launch of a new AI Search service aimed at brands that want to appear in answers generated by ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. The service is built on Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) methodology, meaning it optimizes a company's presence for the way language models construct their purchase recommendations.

The AI Search service is the agency's response to a shift in consumer behavior that is becoming increasingly visible in market data. Instead of typing a query into Google and scrolling through a list of links, more and more people are asking a chatbot directly for a recommendation on a specific product or service, expecting a ready-made, personalized answer.

The GEO Method

The process offered by oLIVE media begins with an audit of the client's website for AI readability, meaning how easily language models can extract reliable information about a product, its pricing, or availability. The audit is followed by a stage of technical and content optimization of the site itself.

A key element of the service is building a digital knowledge base about the brand, made up of things like FAQ sections and blog articles. This knowledge base is meant to give chatbots material they can cite in real time when discussing the company, rather than relying on random or outdated sources.

The Numbers Behind the Decision

The starting point for the new service is an e-Izba (Polish e-commerce chamber) report from June 2026, according to which as many as 91 percent of consumers in Poland use artificial intelligence assistance while shopping. That is a share that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago for an e-commerce industry built around classic SEO strategies.

The second pillar of the agency's argument is the Muck Rack report "What Is AI Reading?" from May 2026. It found that as much as 84 percent of citations in answers generated by AI models come from coverage earned organically through classic media relations work, while paid and sponsored content accounts for just 0.3 percent of citations.

Competition in AI Visibility

oLIVE media is not the first player on the Polish market to build an offering around brand visibility in AI answers. Earlier, the firm IMM launched a similar tool, IMMgeo, for monitoring brand presence in language model responses. The emerging GEO services segment is starting to resemble the early years of the SEO market, when agencies rushed to build expertise around a new customer-acquisition channel.

The argument meant to convince companies to invest in this area is a GrackerAI report from February 2026, cited by oLIVE media. According to it, recommendations from AI models convert 4.4 times better than results from traditional search engines, meaning a user who discovers a brand through a chatbot is more likely to make a purchase than someone clicking a link from Google results.

What This Means for Polish Companies

For marketers, this means shifting part of their budget away from traditional advertising and paid content toward credible, verifiable publications and media relations, since these are what most often end up in the databases language models draw on. Companies that have so far treated PR as an add-on to advertising may start to see it as the main channel for reaching customers through AI.

For now, it is hard to say how effective these kinds of services will be in practice, since language models are changing the way they select sources much faster than search engines ever changed their ranking algorithms. Agencies like oLIVE media are nonetheless betting that demand for AI optimization will keep growing as more consumers turn to chatbots when shopping.
