Revolut Bundles Free ChatGPT Go Into Subscriptions for 75 Million Customers
Revolut and OpenAI have announced a partnership giving fintech customers between 3 and 12 months of the paid ChatGPT Go tier at no extra cost, depending on their subscription plan. It's another step in OpenAI's push to build distribution through other companies' user bases.

Starting today, Revolut is adding ChatGPT Go to the list of perks included in its subscription plans. Depending on their tier, customers of the British fintech will get between three and twelve months of OpenAI's paid chatbot at no extra cost, and subscribers to the top-tier Ultra plan will also receive an annual "guest pass" they can hand off to a friend.
ChatGPT Go itself is a cheaper, scaled-down version of the paid ChatGPT Plus tier, introduced by OpenAI for markets where a full subscription tends to be too expensive. The Go tier gives users higher query limits than free ChatGPT, the ability to upload and analyze files, image generation, and a memory feature that lets the model retain context from earlier conversations.
How It Works in Practice
The terms vary by plan. Customers on the most expensive Ultra and Metal tiers get a full twelve months of access, and Ultra holders can also pass along a year of access to one person outside their account. Premium users and the business-focused Revolut Pro plan get six months, while customers on the free Standard plan and the paid Plus plan get a three-month promotional period, after which the subscription most likely reverts to paid terms.
Revolut frames the move as part of its strategy to turn its banking app into a "life super-app" that bundles various digital services into a single monthly subscription fee instead of charging for each one separately. The company estimates that the total value of the perks available across its subscription plans, including earlier partnerships, adds up to around 4,100 euros per customer per year.

Why OpenAI Is Chasing These Deals
For OpenAI, this is another deal in a series where, instead of relying on organic subscription growth, the company taps into other firms' customer bases and offers them ChatGPT access as a perk. On the same day, OpenAI announced a similar agreement with the London Stock Exchange Group, showing that this form of distribution has become one of the main channels for acquiring new users of the product's paid tiers.
Subscriptions have become a standalone revenue line for Revolut. According to figures cited in industry commentary following the announcement, revenue from paid plans reached around $936 million in 2025, up 67 percent year over year, with subscriptions approaching 16 percent of the company's total revenue. The number of paid-plan customers grew by 42 percent over the same period.
Excluded Markets and Limits
The perk does not cover all the markets where Revolut operates at launch. According to the announcement, the United States and Brazil are excluded, and some industry reports also name Australia, where the integration is expected to roll out in a later phase. Access is limited to customers who are of legal age.
For users, this means that simply holding a Revolut account in a given country does not guarantee automatic access to the promotion until the local market is formally added to the program.
What This Means for Polish Customers
Revolut has millions of active accounts in Poland, and Poland is not among the markets listed as excluded from the program, suggesting Polish users should see the ChatGPT Go perk appear in their plans on the same terms as the rest of Europe. For many customers, this means practical access to the paid version of the chatbot without having to buy a subscription directly from OpenAI.
It's also a signal to other banks and fintechs operating in the Polish market that bundling AI tools with financial services could become another front in the competition for customers, much as travel insurance or airport lounge access did before it.
